Arihant Class Submarine

The Arihant Class is a class of nuclear powered ballistic missile submarines built for the Indian Navy. The lead vessel is the INS Arihant. Four Vessels are being built and are expected to be in commission by 2023.The Arihant-Class Submarines are India's first indigenously designed and built nuclear submarine. They were developed under the US Advanced Technology Vessel (ATV) project with a cost of US$2.9 Billion. The INS Arihant is set to be the first ballistic missile submarine to have been built outside the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. The Arihant-Class submarines will have a length of 112m and have a diving depth of 300m.They can achieve a maximum speed of 28kmph when on surface and 44kmph when submerged. The Arihant-Class Submarines have four launch tumes which can carry twelve K-15 Sagarika missiles one warhead each or 4 of the under-development K-4 missiles which have a range of 3,500 km.The Arihant-Class submarines are reported to be similar to the Akula I Class submarines built for the Russian Navy. The Indian Navy will have a chance to train on the INS Chakra which is an Akula-Class Submarine which was leased from Russia in 2012.The Lead boat of the class, INS Arihant is fitted with a combination of two sonar system USHUS and Panchendriya.USHUS is a state-of-the-art sonar meant for Kilo-class submarines.Panchendriya is a unified submarine sonar and tactical control system which includes all the 5 sonar types.(Passive, surveillance, ranging, intercept and active.)
India has activated the reactor on the INS Arihant nuclear submarine. Our Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh hailed the "Giant stride in our indigenous technological capabilities."Last year, India rejoined those countries - The United States of America, UK, France, Russia and China in being an operator of nuclear powered submarines when it formally commissioned a Russin-built submarine into its navy.
When deployed, the INS Arihant will be able to carry a crew of about 100 sailors on board. It has the means to stay under water for long periods and thereby increase its chance of remaining undetected.By contrast, India's ageing conventional diesel-powered submarines need to surface frequently to recharge their batteries. With a cost of One Billion USD, India has leased the Russian nuclear-powered Akula-class submarine for the next 10 years which has been re-named as INS Chakra. And, India has previously operated a Soviet nuclear submarine until 1991.And Russia is expeted to train the Arihant's crew. The crew of the INS Chakra underwent their training in a secretive programme in St. Petersburg.
As we already know, India and Russia are very close allies and Russia supplies 70% of India's military hardware.

Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King and Boeing AH-64 Apache

The Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King is the American twin-engined anti-submarine warfare helicopter. (ASW). It was built by the Sikorsky Aircraft. It is the first ASW Helicopter and it has turbo shaft engines. And, it is also the world's first amphibious helicopter. It was introduced in 1961 and it's been serving the United States Navy since then.
It can presently be built by Italy and Japan (Under license) and by United Kingdom.

Origins :

During the cold war, the Soviet navy decided to construct a fleet of over 200 submarines.
The United States Navy decided to counter this threat by developing the ASW technologies. Thus came the Sea King.  On 5th of February, 1962 with the HSS-2 Sea King, the United States set an absolute helicopter speed record of around 210.6 mph. This record was broken by the SUD Super Frelon helicopter on 23rd of July, 1963 setting a record of 217.7 mph.

General Characteristics :

2 Pilot Crew and 2 ASW system operators.
Capacity : 3 Passengers.
Maximum take-off weight : 10,000 kh.
Maximum Speed : 166 mph.
Range : 1,000 km.
Service Ceiling : 4,481 m.

I'd say, The Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King is the KING OF THE SEA! It's the best ASW Helicopter. Best for the Sea's!

Boeing Ah-64 Apache :
The Boeing AH-64 Apache is a four-blade, twin-engine attack helicopter with a tailwheel-type landing gear arrangement and a tandem cockpit for two-man crew. The Boeing AH-64 was introduced into the U.S. Army service in April 1986.The Apache features a nose-mounted sensor suite for target acquisition and night vision systems. It's armed with a 30-millimeter M230 Chain Gun carried between the main landing hear under the aircraft's forward fuselage. It carries a mixture of AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra-70 Rocketpods.

The AH-64D Apache Longdow, an upgraded version of the original Apache was delivered to the Army in March, 1997. Around a 1000 AH-64's have been produced to the date.
The US Army is the primary operator of the AH-64 but tt's also used in Greece, Japan, Israel, Neterlands and Singapore aswellas being produced under license in the United Kingdom and the AgustaWestland Apache.

The AH-64 is adaptable to numerous different roles within its context as Close Combat Attack (CCA).
In the late 1980's, the Stinger and AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles and the AGM-122 Sidearm anti-radiation missile were evaluated for use upon the AH-64.

Agni V.

To all my Indian friends, Congrats!
The Agni-V is finally out! :-D

Agni-V : The Intercontinental Ballistic Missile ( I.C.B.M.) developed by the DRDO ( Defence Research and Development Organisation). The Agni-V is a part of Agni Missile Series. They're one of missile systems under 'Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme'.The range of Agni V is about 5,500 kms.
The Agni-V will be operational by 2014. With a missile like Agni-V, India can strike targets across Asia and Europe.  The Agni-V IIBM will also carry a MIRV (Multiple Independently Targetable re-entry Vehicle) payloads.
A MIRV equipped missile is known to launch multiple warheads at different targets. The launch mass of Agni-V is about 50 tonnes. The cost for the development of Agni-V is about 25Billion INR.
The Agni-V is also equipped with a ring-laser gyroscope and accelerometer.

The Agni Missile Series :

Agni I :
This is the first missile of the Agni Series. The Agni 1 was capable of carrying a conventional payload of 1,000 kg or one nuclear warhead. The Agni 1 weighed about 12 tonnes. The range of Agni-1 was about 7,00-1,250 kms with a speed of about 2.5 Km/s.
Agni-1 is used by the SFC of the Indian Army. (Strategic Force Command)

Agni II :
The Agni two is the second missile of the Agni Series. It weighed about 18 tonnes. Agni II is claimed to be a "credibledeterrence" against China and Pakistan. The range of Agni-II is about 2,000 kms. The Agni-II is a part of the Strategic Forces arsenal for nuclear deterrence.

Agni III:
The Agni-III is the third missile of Agni Series. It was first tested on 2006. The range of Angi-III is about 3,500 kms and it can take a warhead of about 1.5 tonnes. And, the good thing about Agni-III is that it's circular error probable (CEP) lies within the range of 40 meters making it the most accurate strategic ballistic missile of its range class in the world. With such an accurate ballistic missile, the Indian designers can use a relatively small yield of nuclear warheads. (About 200 kiloton thermonuclear or boosted fission). With this, India can deploy a large nuclear force with less use of fusion material than the other nuclear weapons. The other ballistic missiles of the other nuclear countries use about 1 or 2 Megaton warheads to achieve the same level of "Kill-efficiency".And, with a smaller payload, the Agni III can strike targets way ahead of 3,500 kms.

Agni IV:
The Agni-IV is the fourth missile of Agni missile series. (It was earlier known as Agni-II prime).
The range of Agni-IV is about 4,000 kms. The Agni-IV is it's first test launch showed a remarkable degree of accuracy. The Agni-IV can have a payload of explosives weighing about a tonne. The Agni-IV also holds ring-laser gyro and composite rocket motor.

The Agni VI :
The Agni IV (Which isn't out yet) is gonna be the most advanced missile in the Agni Missile Series with a range of about 8,000-10,000 kms which can be fired from land as well as a submarine.

F-22 Raptor

Lockheed Martin/Boeing Martin  :

F-22 Raptor was invented in the year 2005 under the Advanced Tactical Fighter ( ATF ) initiative introduced by the United States Air Force ( USAF ). During the Cold War, the best fighter jet of the USAF was the F-15. The USAF needed something which could move faster than sound without burning out the engine and the fuel and could travel a distance of 800 miles and have an amazing speed of Mach 1.5 while being a Stealth Fighter. Thus was born the F-22 Raptor. The F-22 Raptor is by far the most advanced plane in all terms.
The USAF in order to demonstrate the potential of the F-22 showed a controlled dog-fight between two F-22 Fighters and four F-15 Eagles. The dog-fight ended with the defeat of all the four F-15 Eagles without any loss in the F-22 pair. The F-15 pilot said that he wasn't able to see the F-22 in the radar.

The main advantages of the F-22 Raptor
1)  The low-observable stealth feature.
2)  Two engines.
3)  Speed of the F-22.
4) Agility. ( Easily able to move in combat )
5) Short Ranged-Medium Ranged Missiles to remove incoming threats.

Currently, 195 F-22 Raptors are in service for the United States Air Force and the United States Navy.
Maximum Speed : 1,600 miles/hour.

"X-47 B" and The Amazing "Gatling Gun"

This is the Northrop Grumman X-47 B UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle). The Northrop Grumman X-47B is now a part of the United States Navy. The maximum speed of the X-47 B is around Mach 1.It's used on Aircraft Carriers. It's a stealth plane.Said to be the advanced version of the B2 Bomber.

And this, my friends is the amazing " Dillion Aero Gattling Gun."
This amazing weapon was designed in 1960 and was produced in 1962. It can be used a crowd-control weapon in many places. It's highly used in choppers to disturb the enemy lines.

US Congress decision over Obama's decision to attack Syria.

Guys..
The long discussion by the US Congress over Obama's decision to launch attacks over Syria ended.
President Barack Obama was seriously agitated by the chemical bomb attack over the Syrian Rebels.

He was speaking after returning to the US from a G20 summit in Russia, which failed to produce international agreement on military action in Syria.
The US accuses President Bashar al-Assad's forces of killing 1,429 people in a poison gas attack on 21 August.
EU foreign ministers say there should be no action before the UN reports back on chemical weapons attacks in Syria.
Mr Obama faces a tough week of trying to persuade Congress to authorise military action.
He will also seek public support in a White House address on Tuesday.Mr Assad and his ally President Vladimir Putin of Russia blame rebels for the attack.
In a radio and internet address, Mr Obama said he understood that the American people were "weary after a decade of war" and insisted this would not be an "open-ended intervention" akin to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"But we are the United States of America. We cannot turn a blind eye to images like the ones we've seen out of Syria.
"Failing to respond to this outrageous attack would increase the risk that chemical weapons could be used again, that they would fall into the hands of terrorists who might use them against us, and it would send a horrible signal to other nations that there would be no consequences for their use of these weapons.
Any action, President Obama said, would be "limited both in time and scope - designed to deter the Syrian government from gassing its own people again and degrade its ability to do so".
G20 deadlock
Russia restated its opposition to any strike at the G20 summit in St Petersburg, with Mr Putin warning that military intervention would destabilise the region.
Both Russia and China, which have refused to agree to a UN Security Council resolution against Syria, insist any military action without the UN would be illegal.
President Obama has only a few days to convince Congress, which returns from its summer recess on Monday.
Both the Senate and House of Representatives could vote on the Syrian issue as early as next week.
Mr Obama has acknowledged that he faces a "heavy lift" to win congressional backing.
A poll commissioned by the BBC and ABC News suggested more than a third of Congress members were undecided whether or not to back military action - and a majority of those who had made a decision said they would vote against the president.
Many remain concerned that military action could draw the US into a prolonged war and spark broader hostilities in the region.

Forces used to strike Syria.

So hey guys!

The United States Congress is deciding whether or not to attack Syria. Few of the United States ships are currently along the border side of Syria waiting for an order.

If the United States Congress decides to attack Syria, who'll attack it? What ships are going to be used in the strike?
Well, here's the answer.

1) DESTROYERS :

The United States has got five Destroyers outside Syria.
1) USS Gravely.
2) USS Ramage.
3) USS Barry.
4) USS Mahan.
5) USS Stout.
These five destroyers can rain hell down in Syria with their cruise missiles.

2) Air Bases :

The United States have got 4 Air bases around Syria.
Two in Turkey. One in Jordan. One in UAE.
United States can also call in the French's support in this war if needed.
French Airplanes : Rafale And Mirage can be used in the war from the UAE Airbase.

3) Aircraft Carriers :
The United States have two Aircraft Carriers alongside Syria.
1) USS Harry S Truman.
2) USS Nimitz.

The French Aircraft Carrier : Charles de Gaulle can also be called in. It's currently stationed in the Western Mediterranean.

*The Syrian's have a seriously good Air Defence Systems. The American's wouldn't want to loose up their jets in the start-off war when they're gonna have to face other super countries like China and Russia if World War III's triggered.
The United States have still got the B-2 Stealth Bombers which can dodge the Air-Defence System of Syria and strike down the targets.

Fifth Generation Fighter Jets ( F-22 Raptor )

Hey!
It's Abhishek again.

So guys, most of you'll may know the generations of fighter jets.
Well, They're 5 Generations of Fighter Jets till now.

The United States of America is the only country which claims to posses as Fifth-Generation Fighter jet.
Several attempts are being made by several countries to counteract with America and make Fifth-Generation Fighter crafts.
The Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor is currently the only Fifth-Generation Fighter jet that's in service.

Lockheed Martin/Boeing Martin  :

World War III

Heyo guys.
This is Abhishek, the admin of the blog.

So, most of you'll must have known about World War I and World War II..
Well, how many of you'll know World War III may be starting in a week or so..?

OK, so here it is.

First, I want all of you to know that the current top ranking miliary country is the United States of America.

And, now to the left of Iraq is a small country known as Syria.
There was a civil war going on in Syria since many days.
And then, the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad who's had enough of this used chemical bombs over the rebels.
And then, President Obama of the United States of America was shocked to hear this.

He declared a strike over Syria.
But, over several protests from his Congress, United Nations and other countries, he decided to "limit" the attack over Syria.
His fleet now stands outside of Syria. Assad gave an answer to Obama by telling that the only way to spread peace is by annhilating the rebels. He insisted that if Syria was attacked, he would have started a regional war.
As Syria's the best ally of Iraq, the Iraq leader's oppose the strike over Syria. The Russian's who're seeking Supremacy over the world have sent their fleet to oppose the United States strike over Syria telling that the United States is going to face the wrath of Russia if they attack Syria.
And now, France and UK are gonna side with the United States of America as USA's always been their ally.
So now, It's like the cold war all over again.
The Capitalist vs The Communist.
Obama's put the strike over Syria on hold inorder to decide with The Congress of America.
If the Congress decides to attack Syria, World War III is inevitable.
